Art History
I have held 3 one-man exhibitions of oils, watercolours, etchings
and drawings in Central Queensland since 1980.
A
plan to to spend time in Europe in 2003 to paint and draw on the
WWW1 battlefields on the Western Front on the River Somme and
around Ypes (Ieper) came to fruition with valued assistance from
RADF via the Livingstone Shire Council. The resulting collection
of 23 paintings and drawings together with text explaining each
work's significance has been exhibited in six locations throughout
Central Queensland.
The
works on this page are not for sale. They have been chosen to show
the quality and variety of my art work.

Art Work
Having been blessed with skills that enable me to represent the
world around me quite easily, I have worked mainly in 2D areas of
drawing and painting. I have no special preference fpr medium and
work with pencil, ink, watercolour and oils.
Generally
the subject that grabs my interest will suggest the medium and
treatment. The results, as you can see, are a naturalistic
representation of our wonderful worl in a variety of techniques.
